High speed photography
The MLL has a high-speed-camera (Imacon) for serial imaging down to the ns-pulse range. Furthermore, ultra short pulse photography is established.

Ablation dynamics:
The series of pictures shows the ablation plumes during corneal ablation with an excimer laser. Its analysis gave significant hints to improve refractive surgery. The picture series records events, which took place in a 1/1000 second.
